Riyadh, the capital and cultural centre of Saudi Arabia, is surrounded by the desert, which also characterises Riyadh's climate. Our composting plant there turns organic waste into high-quality compost in a very short time. The hot temperatures were a particular challenge for us, but we were able to overcome them without any problems. Since commissioning in 2020, 2,000 tonnes of organic waste has been composted each year.
