Project City of Saarbrücken

In 2003, the city of Saarbrücken decided to use our UTV systems. On delivery, the green waste is first separated into wood and fine material and shredded in a large shredder. It is then transported to the intensive composter on an aeration floor, where oxygen is supplied from below via an aeration system. The Saarbrücken compost is produced at the municipal composting plant in Gersweiler using only shrubs, branches, leaves and similar garden waste. No organic waste is used. Our plant composts 8,000 tonnes of green waste each year.
