Our first plant in New Zealand was built in the harbour town of Timaru in 2006. After extensive consultation, the decision was made in favour of our Gore composting system to process waste into high-quality compost in the shortest possible time. Around 20,000 tonnes of biowaste and green waste are composted every year.
